Stands under a mall selling local food. Everything from dried bananas to sausages, even offering to cut fresh mangoes as from the picture below.
I realized that people in Thailand don't just eat fruit, their love to put all types of powder on their fruits. Anything from the type of dried plum powder to eat spicy chili or even saucey type sauces. (wow... I realized that being in Asia for two years I sometimes can't think of proper words to describe what I want... sad... but my Chinese and Taiwanese has significantly improved in the past few years ^_^)
I love this feeling. The picture on the bottom, the sofas on the left were used for people getting Thai massages at our hotel. I saw a couple getting a massage and I thought it looked pretty romantic and cute ^^
One of my favorite Thai dishes! Pad Thai! Unbelievable how delicious simple ingredients can make our tummies feel so happy! I bought this at a food stand and to be honest with you I was a bit scared that I might have food poisoning but I guess my immune system has improve significantly eating all the night market foods in Taiwan! Just like Taiwan these food stands serving simple snacks are often time more delicious then restaurants. I had Pad Thai at the golf course and was disappointed with the lack of depth and simply missed the Pad Thai that I had bought at the food stand close to our hotel.
All in all, Thailand was fun! I can't wait to go back, though I didn't play well this is a place I want to come back to vacation! I already miss the coconut water, yummy food! Though honestly I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to try authentic thai curry or their desserts! I guess that means there will be a next time! Good bye Thailand, but not for too long! I WILL BE BACK! ^_^
